HOLY WEEK REFLECTIONS
[March 29 – April 3, 2021]:

  • Thank you to Asbury Crestwood UMC in Tuckahoe, New York who combined elements of Gifts of the Dark Wood with Entering the Passion to create a series of daily devotional videos graciously shared with our community of faith here in Northern New York.

03/29/2021 DAY 1 – Monday
This Monday, we hear the story of Salome, a follower of Jesus. During Holy Week, Asbury Church is reflecting on the personal stories of the friends, followers, and family of Jesus as they experienced those profound days together. . . .


03/30/2021 DAY 2 – Tuesday
This Tuesday, we hear the story of Mary Magdalene, a friend of Jesus. During Holy Week, Asbury Church is reflecting on the personal stories of the friends, followers, and family of Jesus as they experienced those profound days together.


03/31/2021 DAY 3 – Wednesday
This Wednesday, we hear the story of Simon Peter, a disciple of Jesus. During Holy Week, Asbury Church is reflecting on the personal stories of the friends, followers, and family of Jesus as they experienced those profound days together. 


04/01/2021 DAY 4 – Maundy Thursday
This Thursday, we hear the story of Judas, the disciple of Jesus who betrayed him. During Holy Week, Asbury Church is reflecting on the personal stories of the friends, followers, and family of Jesus as they experienced those profound days together. 


04/02/2021 DAY 5 – Good Friday
This Good Friday, join us in reflection for a Tenebrae service presented by the Asbury Senior Choir. This special service is an encore presentation of the virtual service produced at the height of the coronavirus lockdown in 2020, with the addition of a choral performance of O Love Divine.
